On Thursday, March 24, the School Board unanimously chose to appoint Christopher (CJ) Michaud to the vacant Board seat. CJ’s term will last through the certification of the November 2022 election. CJ and his wife have four young children. Their oldest daughter is a first grader at Knapp Forest and the other three kids will soon follow. CJ is a proud 2006 graduate of FH Northern. CJ’s resume is impressive. He is a clinical pharmacist and a professor of pharmacy practice. He was the emergency room staff pharmacist for Spectrum Health prior to moving to a specialty pharmacy position in the area of cardiothoracic critical care, transplant, and mechanical circulatory support at Spectrum Health. He is now the director of clinical therapeutics for Ion Diagnostics. CJ is also a professional musician (piano and other instruments), youth soccer coach, and a volunteer for many organizations (including FHPS musical productions).
