Last night I got to see again why our community is so amazing. The Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation is known for the grants they provide to our teachers to help them improve learning in the classroom and beyond. On March 9, they ventured into new territory… Trivia Night. Hundreds of people from all areas of the district came together to enjoy each other’s company and to vye for the title of trivia champions. There were tables of Hawks, tables of Huskies, and tables of Rangers. But there were also tables with parents of Hawks, Huskies, and Rangers mixed together. There were teams of community members who no longer had students in school, but who still feel the pull to support our schools. People from all corners of our district came out to have fun with each other and bond as a community. It was a great night of camaraderie and friendship and I left with a renewed sense of gratitude for the people who make up Forest Hills; what we have here is truly special.
